WWE announced that the first roster reveals at E3 2016 would be made at 2K’s booth in Chicago by Rob Schamberger, a portrait artist. The official WWE 2K site published a minigame on August 10. It consisted of spotting the WWE 2K17 superstars using a photo of Brock Lesnar’sSuplex City. A roster of one hundred and six superstars was revealed in the game, which included legends, current stars, and NXT superstars. 2K revealed later that 11 additional DLC superstars would be available. WWE 2K17 is the debut video game of 26 superstars.
Audio and visuals
2K released the official soundtrack to WWE 2K17 on August 8. The official soundtrack includes 13 songs by a variety of artists from different genres. It was created by Sean Combs (also known as Puff Daddy Puffy, Diddy, and Diddy).
