Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R debuts with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
The recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset is finally available on a smartphone in China – the Redmi Note 12R is the first device to launch with the latest mid-range chip. We already knew most of its key specifications as the device was listed in China Mobile’s database last week.
Key specifications of Redmi Note 12T
Aside from a shiny new chipset and some minor camera differences, the Redmi Note 12R shares most of its key specs and design with the recently announced Redmi 12. There’s a 6.79-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the 5MP front camera. On the back there is a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) with a 2MP macro module.
